with earlier versions in terms of the oil pump housing; they share the same mainstream OE part numbers, with only minor part number differences found in certain
European CO₂-compliant configurations or very late-production units.

The engine oil pump draws oil from the oil pan and circulates it through the engine lubrication system. Proper oil delivery helps lubricate critical components, including crankshaft bearings, connecting rod bearings and cylinder head components.
