The Audi BKH is an early 3.2L naturally aspirated V6 gasoline engine from the Volkswagen-Audi Group’s EA837 series (actual displacement: 3,123 cc; commonly referred to as the 3.2 FSI). It was one of the first six-cylinder engines from Audi to adopt direct injection (FSI) technology on a large scale and was produced from approximately 2004 to 2009/2011.
The BKH is closely related to codes such as the European-spec AUK and the BYU used in certain markets, and belongs to the naturally aspirated FSI V6 family. It features an all-aluminum cylinder block (with Alusil coating), DOHC 24-valve configuration, and variable valve timing, and is known for its smooth power delivery and high compression ratio. It served as one of the technical foundations for the subsequent mechanically supercharged 3.0 TFSI engines (such as the CJT and CREC).
