The Audi BDW is a 2.4L naturally aspirated V6 gasoline engine from the Volkswagen-Audi Group’s EA837 series, produced from 2004 to 2008. It is the only version in the series to use **multipoint fuel injection (MPI)** rather than direct injection (FSI), and was primarily installed in pre-facelift Audi A6 C6 (4F) models.
The BDW features an all-aluminum V6 configuration (90° angle), equipped with a 24-valve DOHC system, intake-side variable valve timing, hydraulic lifters, and a timing chain drive, all designed to prioritize smooth operation and reliability. As an entry-level V6 powertrain for mid- to high-end sedans, it is known for its linear power delivery and low maintenance costs, though later models experienced issues such as cylinder wall scoring and timing chain tensioner failures.
This engine belongs to the EA837 family (which also includes FSI versions such as the AUK, BDX, and CAJA) and was designed specifically for the A6 C6 platform.
Our products are exported to various parts of the country, and the customers we have worked with have received unanimous praise. The company has invested over 20 million yuan in high-end remanufacturing equipment imported from abroad and a first-class production team in the country. Our warehouse has a total area of over 8000 square meters, with scientific management and sufficient supply of goods.
