The Toyota 2TR-FE is a legendary 2.7-liter inline-four naturally aspirated gasoline engine introduced by Toyota Motor Corporation in 2004. As a core member of the TR series of engines, it was designed to replace the
aging 3RZ-FE. Thanks to its extremely robust mechanical structure and exceptional reliability, it is widely used in Toyota’s mid- to large-size pickup trucks, rugged off-road vehicles, and light-duty passenger vans.
Technical Features and Structure: The engine features a cast-iron block paired with an aluminum alloy cylinder head, a DOHC (double overhead camshaft) configuration with four valves per cylinder, and
incorporates VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent). Later (starting around 2015), some facelifted versions were upgraded to dual VVT-i and featured a slightly adjusted compression ratio. Its design philosophy is
entirely focused on strong low-end torque, rugged durability, and exceptional resistance to harsh environments.
Our products are exported to various parts of the country, and the customers we have worked with have received unanimous praise. The company has invested over 20 million yuan in high-end remanufacturing equipment imported from abroad and a first-class production team in the country. Our warehouse has a total area of over 8000 square meters, with scientific management and sufficient supply of goods.
