The M276 is a family of 60° V6 gasoline engines introduced by Mercedes-Benz in 2010 to fully replace the earlier M272 engines.

twin-turbocharging (Bi-Turbo / Twin-Turbo). It features Mercedes-Benz’s third-generation piezoelectric direct injection technology (BlueDIRECT), the naturally smooth operation of a 60° cylinder bank
(eliminating the need for a balance shaft), a multi-spark ignition system (Multi-Spark Ignition), and a high-strength aluminum-magnesium alloy cylinder block. It is widely used in Mercedes-Benz’s
mid-to-large luxury sedans (E-Class, S-Class, CLS) and high-end SUVs (GLE, GLS, ML) in the 400 and 43 AMG model series.
