What is engine assembly?The M275 was Mercedes-Benz’s top-of-the-line 60-degree V12 biturbo engine family introduced in the early 2000s to replace the naturally aspirated M137 V12 engine. Positioning of the M275.953: The M275.953 is the mid-cycle upgrade/high-output version of this engine family used in the W221-generation S 600 (as well as the C216 CL 600). Compared to the earlier W220 M275.950 version (500 PS), the M275.953 underwent tuning of the valve timing and turbocharging logic, increasing its power output to 517 PS (510 HP).
