The Volvo B6324S is an inline-6 naturally aspirated gasoline engine independently developed and introduced by Volvo Cars in the mid-to-late 2000s. In the model code, “B” stands for gasoline (Benzine), “6”
for six cylinders, “32” for a 3.2-liter displacement, “4” for four valves per cylinder, and “S” for naturally aspirated. This engine belongs to the same generation of inline-six families as high-performance
turbocharged versions (such as the B6304T) and features an extremely compact transverse layout designed to fit the front transverse engine compartments of Volvo’s mid- to large-size vehicles.
