The Land Rover PT204 (the next-generation, upgraded version of the 204PT, typically referring specifically to JLR’s in-house AJ200P Ingenium 2.0T direct-injection gasoline engine family) is a new-generation flagship gasoline powertrain developed entirely in-house by Jaguar Land Rover to completely replace the earlier Ford EcoBoost architecture. Within JLR, it has been widely used in most mid- to high-end models introduced after 2017. Technical Features and Design: All-aluminum lightweight cylinder block and head, featuring a twin-scroll single turbocharger, high-pressure direct injection (GDi), continuously variable valve lift (CVVL), and dual VVT (variable valve timing for both intake and exhaust).
