The Land Rover 306PS is an AJ126 3.0-liter V6 supercharged gasoline engine from the Jaguar Land Rover lineup. In Jaguar Land Rover’s coding system, “30” represents a 3.0-liter displacement,
“6” represents 6 cylinders, “P” stands for “Petrol” (gasoline), and “S” stands for “Supercharged.” This engine is quite unique; it was developed by directly “removing” two cylinders from
the renowned AJ133 5.0L V8 architecture. As a result, it retains the same 90-degree cylinder bank angle and external dimensions as the V8, and is even manufactured on the same production line.
Technical Features and Structure: It features an all-aluminum cylinder block and head, with an Eaton TVS Roots-type twin-vortex supercharger mounted within the V-angle. It is equipped with direct injection (SGDI)
and a dual independent variable valve timing system (DIVCT).
