The S63B44B (also written as S63B44B or S63TU and related variants) is a high-performance 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine developed by BMW’s M Division based on the N63. It is a high-output version of the N63, built specifically for M models, featuring a hot-V twin-turbo design, reinforced internal components, and higher power output. The S63B44B belongs to the newer S63TU variant, which adds Valvetronic, a higher compression ratio, and an improved turbocharger and cooling system compared to the earlier S63B44O0.
