Key Changes to Cylinder Head Design:Direct Injection (DIG): The new MR20DD cylinder head directly integrates high-pressure direct injection nozzle sockets and the high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) drive mechanism.
The intake manifold geometry has been redesigned to improve the tumble ratio.
Twin C-VTC (Dual Variable Valve Timing System for Intake and Exhaust): Upgraded to dual variable timing control for both intake and exhaust valves, further optimizing low-rpm torque and fuel economy.
High-Pressure, High-Temperature Design: The cylinder head is constructed from high-strength, high-thermal-conductivity aluminum alloy, and the cooling jacket’s
