What is engine assembly?The G6CU is a 3.5L V6 engine from the Hyundai/Kia Sigma series, produced from 1999 to 2007. Essentially a licensed clone of the Mitsubishi 6G74 engine,
it features a cast-iron block paired with an aluminum alloy DOHC 24-valve cylinder head, equipped with hydraulic lifters and a timing belt drive.
This engine was primarily used in midsize and full-size SUVs and luxury sedans, emphasizing smooth operation and low-rpm torque performance.
