What is engine assembly?The N52B30 cylinder head is the cylinder head for BMW’s N52 series 3.0L inline-six naturally aspirated gasoline engine, manufactured from 2004 to approximately 2011.
The N52 is a brand-new, lightweight inline-six series featuring a magnesium-aluminum alloy block and an aluminum alloy cylinder head, equipped with the Valvetronic II
variable valve lift system, Double-VANOS dual variable valve timing, and hydraulic tappets. The N52B30 is the version with the largest displacement and highest power output in
this series. Its cylinder head design is highly similar to that of the N52B25, but to accommodate a larger bore and stroke, the intake and exhaust valve dimensions differ slightly.
This engine is renowned for its smooth operation, reliability, and excellent power delivery, and is widely used in mid- to high-end models.
