What is engine assembly?The BMW B38 series is a 1.5L inline three-cylinder twin-scroll single-turbocharged engine within BMW’s modular engine family (B38/B48/B58). To meet China VI and Euro 6d emissions standards,
the cylinder head of the later China VI version of the B38A15 underwent a technical upgrade, incorporating an integrated exhaust manifold design. This “cylinder head-integrated exhaust manifold”
significantly accelerates warm-up time, reduces cold-start emissions, and effectively lowers exhaust temperature; it is a highly technologically integrated aluminum alloy cylinder head assembly.
