What is engine assembly?CAS (full code CASA) is a 3.0L V6 turbocharged diesel engine (3.0 TDI) from the Volkswagen Group’s EA896 series. Produced from approximately 2007 to 2011/2015, it was primarily used in
the Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg. It features a 90° V6 configuration, common-rail direct injection, and variable geometry turbocharging, with an aluminum alloy cylinder head
in a DOHC 24-valve design (4 valves per cylinder) and independent left and right banks.
