The 276DT (also known as the 2.7 TDV6 / AJD-V6) is a 2.7L V6 turbocharged diesel engine produced by Land Rover and Jaguar from 2004 to 2010.
It belongs to the Lion diesel family jointly developed by Ford and PSA (Peugeot Citroën)—the same series as the 224DT and 306DT—and is known as the 2.7 HDi in Peugeot and Citroën models.
It features a cast-iron V6 block and an aluminum alloy cylinder head, and is equipped with common-rail direct injection and turbocharging (available in single-turbo or twin-turbo versions).
The engine is renowned for its high torque and off-road capabilities, and was primarily used in the Discovery 3 and early Range Rover Sport models.
