Produced at the Győr plant in Hungary since 2018, this engine is a core member of Audi’s new-generation modular V6 engine family (EA839) and was introduced to replace the previous-generation EA837 series. It features an aluminum alloy cylinder block, direct injection (TFSI), and TwinScroll single-turbo technology, delivering a balance of high power, low fuel consumption, and compliance with EURO 6d emissions standards.
