BHK is the engine code for the Volkswagen Group’s EA390 series 3.6L VR6 FSI naturally aspirated gasoline engine.
Produced from 2005 to 2010, this engine is an upgraded version of the VR6 (narrow-angle V6) family, featuring FSI direct injection technology that emphasizes smooth operation and power delivery.
It was primarily installed in the first-generation Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg models. The VR6 design results in a compact engine structure suitable for both transverse and longitudinal mounting.
