What is engine assembly?The older 306PS (also commonly written as 30HD0D) is a 3.0L V6 supercharged gasoline engine that Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) began mass-producing in 2012. It is a scaled-down version of the AJ-V8 series (derived from a V8 to a V6) and corresponds to the code AJ126 in Jaguar vehicles. It was a flagship model among early high-performance gasoline V6 engines, featuring an aluminum alloy cylinder block and an Eaton M112 supercharger. It was designed to replace larger-displacement V8 engines, balancing power with weight reduction. Production spanned primarily from 2012 to approximately 2017/2018 (early versions); later models featured minor refinements, though the basic cylinder block architecture remained consistent. The series also included higher-output variants, such as the 428 PS version. This engine offers quick response and no turbo lag.
