What is engine assembly?The 306DT is a 3.0L V6 turbocharged diesel engine jointly developed by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Ford (a member of the Ford Lion series). Its internal code is 306DT, and it is also commonly referred to as the 30DDTX or AJV6D (Jaguar version).
It is an upgraded version of the 2.7L 276DT, entered mass production in 2009, and was primarily introduced to replace the earlier TDV6. The engine features a cast-iron V6 block paired with an aluminum alloy cylinder head. Other models in the same series include the 224DT, 276DT, 368DT, and 448DT. In Peugeot/Citroën vehicles, it corresponds to the 3.0 HDi.
